Periodic Stories Review

Greetings!

Many thanks go out to the talented PC Darkcliff for this wonderful review! Thank you so much, PC!! 🙂

“When I found out what this book was all about, I thought ‘what an amazing idea!’ A collection of stories based on elements of the periodic table must be one of the smartest and most original moves in modern literature. But it’s not just this arrangement that makes this collection special.
As I dislike chemistry, I feared that the stories would be tedious. Fortunately, almost none of them actually dealt with science, and even those which did were very enjoyable. The characters were mostly ordinary people, some nice, other evil, and they all came alive thanks to the skill of master storyteller, Jim Bates. The tales flowed like melting butter and were incredibly easy and fun to eat. It was fascinating how the author went about weaving the chemical elements into the stories. Highly recommended!”
